Sometimes we are asked to design a solution that works on more than one level. The National Media Museum in Bradford – with its seven floors of media and film exhibits – was one such project.
Commissioned to improve way finding for visitors, we devised a system based on the iconic clapperboard: using the chevron as both a repeat motif, and as a recognisable and flexible navigational graphic.
We were impressed with the way Carter Wong engaged with the brief. They provided a cohesive solution that looks very impressive. And it really seems to have worked for our audience.
