Following the restructure of international sustainable fisheries group Norebo, we were tasked with creating a new name and brand identity for the business’s premium fishing brand, Atlantika.
Responding to the evolution of operations within the business formerly known as Atlantika – a name that reflected previous fishing grounds in the Atlantic ocean – With operations evolving and fishing now extended to the Pacific, the time had come to introduce a new identity to more accurately represent the brand.
The new name of Glacialis moves the brand away from the direct connection to the fishing grounds and captures the quality of the ‘wild fresh-frozen at sea’ products.
We created a strong brand mark and premium brand language that is directed at restaurants and the food service industry. Our strategy for this client was to differentiate them from competitors in this core B2B market and to keep them ahead in terms of design that stands out from the crowd.
“In close to 30 years in the seafood business, I have never had a product in such unique and creative packaging to sell, and never thought that a strong identity and packaging could add so much to our business.”Kristján Hjaltason - Norebo, Vice President Sales
The new positioning and branding has been successfully rolled out across five continents. The initial response has been very positive and the company continues to go from strength to strength.
