Bold brand impact on shelf

We were tasked with designing a new packaging range across all SKUs within the ‘paint’ vertical for global, premium artist’s materials brand Winsor & Newton.

Making it bold and contemporary whilst keeping a Heritage flavour, ensuring the brand is front and centre and the products have strong in-store and on-shelf presence.

Using bold“real’ images of the products on the front of pack across Oil, Watercolour, Acrylic and Gifting and grounded with a bold typographic treatment for the brand wordmark.

Where the product info lies

This thinking continue across back of pack and we looked at the importance of clear product information – what will I get! The core campaign of “Through the Eyes of the Artist’ was also used to create a direct link across brand touchpoint to shelf.

Culminating in a full packaging brand guidelines across all sku’s.
